Human PARM1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human PARM1 (Prostate Androgen-Regulated Mucin-like protein 1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection: biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate are applied sequentially, TMB substrate is added, and absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is reported as 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Validation covers serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma with linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (serum 88–103% / 87–101% / 86–105%; EDTA plasma 86–101% / 82–100% / 82–101%; heparin plasma 88–97% / 84–96% / 87–99%) and average spike recoveries of 94% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma), and 98% (heparin plasma). PARM1 expression is regulated by androgens in prostate cells, and the protein is studied as a biomarker relevant to prostate cancer progression. The UniProt reference is Q6UWI2. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C with a shelf life of 12 months; the lyophilised standard and plate strips may also be stored at −20°C.
