Human Paraoxonase 2 (PON2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Paraoxonase 2 (PON2) ELISA Kit supports quantitative measurement of PON2, a calcium-dependent intracellular arylesterase and lactonase in the paraoxonase family (PON1, PON2, PON3) that is constitutively expressed in most human tissues and protects cells against oxidative damage by hydrolyzing lipid peroxides and quorum-sensing lactones. The kit is widely used in cardiovascular, type 2 diabetes, neurodegeneration, and tumor biology research, where altered PON2 expression has been linked to oxidative stress and inflammatory signaling.

The two-antibody capture format works with tissue homogenates and cell lysates, uses a 100 µL sample per well with a human-specific capture antibody, and is read on a standard microplate reader. Reconstituted standards should be stored frozen at -20°C, while other kit components are kept refrigerated at 4°C; protect reagents from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles.
