Human PAP (Prostatic acid phosphatase) ELISA Kit (HUFI04691)

Prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) is a lysosomal glycoprotein enzyme secreted by prostate epithelial cells, with a long history as a circulating biomarker in prostate cancer research. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie enables sensitive measurement of human PAP across blood-derived biofluid specimens, supporting studies of prostate tumor progression, androgen regulation, and metastatic disease monitoring.

The kit uses a microplate format pre-coated with capture antibody specific for human PAP. Standards and samples are loaded into wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and a streptavidin-HRP conjugate. After substrate addition and stop solution, absorbance is read on a standard plate reader. Each kit is configured for 96 Assays, providing reagents for a single full plate run.
