Human PANK1 ELISA Kit (HUFI07349)

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie quantitatively measures human Pantothenate Kinase 1 (PANK1) in serum and plasma samples using a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-PANK1 capture antibody, biotinylated detection reagent, and streptavidin-HRP for colorimetric readout. PANK1 catalyzes the first committed step of coenzyme A biosynthesis from pantothenate (vitamin B5), and altered PANK1 expression has been associated with pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration (PKAN), supporting its use in metabolic and neurological disease research.

Each well accommodates a sample volume of approximately 20 uL, with serially diluted standards included for generating a calibration curve. Reconstituted standards and concentrated detection antibody should be kept refrigerated and protected from light, and the kit is intended for in vitro research use only. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against PANK2 or PANK4 under the recommended assay conditions.
