Human Pancreatic triacylglycerol lipase (PNLIP) ELISA Kit

A colourimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Pancreatic triacylglycerol lipase (PNLIP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit, also referred to by the synonym PL, is specific for natural and recombinant human PNLIP and is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 33pg/mL. Reported precision is 6.1% intra-assay CV and 7.2% inter-assay CV. Recovery has been documented at an average of 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

PNLIP is a member of the lipase gene family and encodes a carboxyl esterase (EC 3.1.1.3) that hydrolyses insoluble, emulsified triglycerides, supporting the efficient digestion of dietary fats.
