The Assay Genie Human Palmdelphin (PALMD) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of palmdelphin in research samples, supporting investigations in oncology and cardiovascular biology. Palmdelphin is a cytoskeletal-associated protein encoded by the PALMD gene and has emerged as a candidate biomarker in triple-negative breast cancer, where its expression levels correlate with tumor progression and patient prognosis. Investigators also apply this microplate-based assay to studies of cardiac remodeling, vascular smooth muscle cell behavior, and fibrotic tissue responses.
To preserve antibody binding activity, reconstitute reagents immediately before use, aliquot the reconstituted standard to limit repeated freeze-thaw events, and store all components at refrigerated temperature. The microplate format accommodates multiple sample replicates and standard curves per run, making the workflow practical for both small pilot studies and larger screening campaigns. This product is intended for research use only and is not validated for clinical diagnostics. Lot-specific performance characteristics, including assay range, minimum detectable dose, and intra- and inter-assay precision, are documented on the Certificate of Analysis shipped with the kit.
