Human PALM (Paralemmin-1) ELISA KIT (HUFI04977)

The PALM (Paralemmin-1) target encoded by the PALM gene is a palmitoylated phosphoprotein anchored to the cytoplasmic face of the plasma membrane and to intracellular vesicles, where it contributes to cytoskeletal remodeling and membrane-cytoskeleton coupling. In neuronal cells, Paralemmin-1 supports process outgrowth and synaptic organization, and altered expression has been reported in studies of neurodegeneration, glioblastoma, and membrane trafficking disorders. This Assay Genie kit is used by investigators probing these mechanisms in cell culture, primary neuron, and tissue-homogenate workflows.

Each kit is supplied as a complete package with a pre-coated microwell plate, lyophilized recombinant human PALM standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer concentrate, and assay diluent. Standards and 100 µL of sample per well are pipetted into the plate, the biotinylated detector is layered on, and color development with the TMB substrate is read after stopping; the recombinant human PALM standard curve typically spans 0.1–10 ng/mL. Unopened components should be refrigerated; protect all reagents from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted standards.
