Human PAF1 ELISA Kit (HUFI07372)

PAF1 (RNA polymerase II-associated factor 1 homolog) is a core subunit of the PAF1 complex (PAF1C), which associates with RNA polymerase II to regulate transcription elongation, mRNA 3'-end processing, and histone modifications including H3K4 and H3K36 methylation. Researchers employ this kit to quantify PAF1 levels in studies of gene expression control, stem cell maintenance, and tumour biology, as aberrant PAF1 activity has been reported in breast, colorectal, and pancreatic cancer progression.

Each Assay Genie kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised recombinant human PAF1 standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop reagent. The capture antibody is human-specific, and reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and stored refrigerated to minimise freeze-thaw cycles that destabilise the calibration curve. Working conjugate and substrate are protected from light between incubation steps.
