Human P63 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human p63, intended as a research tool for studies of cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection: samples and standards are incubated on a pre-coated plate, followed by a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Reactivity is human. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity values (percentage of calculated versus expected concentration) are: serum (n=5) 85-97% at 1:2, 80-99% at 1:4, 88-103% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) 82-93%, 88-100%, 88-104%; heparin plasma (n=5) 86-101%, 82-99%, 82-94%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 94% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 98% for heparin plasma. The kit is assigned to the cell death research area.

Components supplied include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X concentrate), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard additionally suitable for 12 months of storage at -20°C.
