P4HB (prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit beta), better known as protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI), is a thiol oxidoreductase of the endoplasmic reticulum that catalyzes disulfide bond formation, isomerization, and reduction during nascent polypeptide folding. This ELISA plate from Assay Genie is formatted for quantitative measurement of human P4HB across cell culture supernatant, plasma, and serum samples, supporting research into collagen prolyl hydroxylation, unfolded protein response signaling, ER redox homeostasis, and tumor biology where elevated PDI expression has been linked to cancer cell survival, metastasis, and chemoresistance.
