Human P3H1 (Prolyl 3-hydroxylase 1) ELISA Kit (HUFI05119)

This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie targets Prolyl 3-hydroxylase 1 (P3H1), the enzyme encoded by LEPRE1 that catalyzes 3-hydroxylation of proline-986 within collagen type I chains and is essential for proper collagen folding and bone matrix integrity. Mutations disrupting P3H1 function are linked to recessive osteogenesis imperfecta type VIII, making accurate quantification valuable in connective tissue disorder studies. The kit detects human P3H1 across an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with intra-assay CV under 10% and shows no significant cross-reactivity to the paralogues P3H2 or P3H3. Each microplate kit ships with pre-coated wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, standard calibrators, and substrate solution sufficient for 96 Assays, with 100 µL of sample required per well. Reagent components should be stored at 4 °C, with the standard stock aliquoted and held at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw degradation; the working conjugate and diluted standards remain stable for short-term use only.
