Human P2Y purinoceptor 12 (P2RY12) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables precise measurement of P2Y purinoceptor 12 (P2RY12) levels in human samples. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity toward natural and recombinant human P2Y purinoceptor 12.

Quantitative performance is supported by a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Reproducibility is reported with an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, while recovery testing in serum and plasma returns average values of 106% (range 100–112%) and 108% (range 102–114%), respectively. P2RY12 is a receptor for ADP and ATP coupled to G-proteins that inhibit the adenylyl cyclase second messenger system; it is not activated by UDP and UTP and is required for normal platelet aggregation and blood coagulation. The protein is a multi-pass cell membrane receptor (UniProt Q9H244, molecular weight 39,439 Da) implicated in platelet activation, hemostasis, and thrombosis, with dysregulation linked to cardiovascular and thrombotic disorders.
