Human P2RX7/P2X purinoceptor 7 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of P2RX7/P2X purinoceptor 7 in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method based on a double-antibody sandwich format, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, supporting reproducible quantification of P2RX7, a protein implicated in purinergic signalling, inflammation, immunity, and cell death, and a biomarker of interest in cancer, autoimmune, and neurodegenerative research. Linearity has been validated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, with spike-and-recovery averaging 95% in serum and 93% in both EDTA and heparin plasma.

Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the microplate and lyophilised standard additionally suitable for 12 months at -20°C. The kit is intended for use in signal transduction research.
