Human P1NP (Procollagen I N-terminal Propeptide ) ELISA Kit (HUES01452)

Assay Genie's sandwich-format ELISA enables quantitative measurement of Procollagen I N-terminal Propeptide (P1NP) in human samples. P1NP is recognised as a key marker of collagen synthesis and bone formation, and elevated levels are reported in research contexts relating to conditions such as osteoporosis and other bone-related diseases. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Detection is by colorimetric readout on a dismountable microplate, with the full protocol completed in 3 h 30 min. The kit achieves a sensitivity of 9.38 pg/mL and a working detection range of 15.63-1000 pg/mL, with sample recovery reported between 80%-120%. Recovery in EDTA plasma averaged 94% (range 88-101%, n=8) and in cell culture media averaged 95% (range 89-103%, n=8). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human P1NP and analogues was observed. The required sample volume is 100 μL. The assay targets the human P1NP sequence corresponding to UniProt entry P02452 and is supplied for research applications within the signal transduction area, with most components stored at 2-8°C.
