Human P III CP/Procollagen ɢ C-Terminal ProPeptide ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative detection of human Procollagen III C-Terminal Propeptide (P III CP) by a colorimetric double-antibody sandwich method, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and reports a sensitivity of 7.5 pg/mL across a standard range of 12.5-800 pg/mL.

The workflow comprises a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes before stop solution and immediate 450 nm readout. Components are supplied for storage at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. P III CP is recognised as a biomarker of collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix formation and is investigated as an indicator in conditions such as fibrosis, osteoporosis and arthritis.
