Human OxLDL/Oxidized low-density lipoprotein ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is configured for the quantitative detection of oxidized low-density lipoprotein (OxLDL) in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It uses a double-antibody format with a reported sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a detection range of 3.125–200 ng/mL.

OxLDL is a key biomarker for atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, and this kit is aimed at researchers studying disease progression, risk assessment, and treatment efficacy in cardiology, lipid metabolism, and vascular biology. Validated linearity falls within 82–105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:8, with recovery averaging 95–98% depending on sample type.

The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate using an HRP-Streptavidin detection system and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, and the kit includes a lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and the buffers and consumables needed to perform the protocol.
