Human Oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1 (OLR1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of human Oxidized low-density lipoprotein receptor 1 (OLR1), also known as LOX-1 or CLEC8A, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit from Assay Genie uses an ELISA read-out and is reactive with human samples.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 9.375-600pg/mL and a sensitivity of 2.34pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.1% and inter-assay CV at 9.6%. Linearity has been validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 99% for serum (range 93-105%) and 101% for plasma (range 95-107%). The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human OLR1.

OLR1 is a receptor that mediates the recognition, internalization and degradation of oxidatively modified low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) by vascular endothelial cells, with relevance to atherosclerosis and cardiovascular research. For research use only.
