Human OTX2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human OTX2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. OTX2 is a transcription factor involved in embryonic development and the regulation of gene expression in the central nervous system; aberrant expression has been linked to neurological disorders including medulloblastoma, making the protein a useful biomarker for research into neurodevelopmental conditions and cancer biology.

Run as a double-antibody sandwich immunoassay on a pre-coated microplate with a colorimetric TMB readout measured at 450 nm, the kit reports a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Reported linearity spans 80–105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:8, with mean recoveries of 94% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 96% (heparin plasma). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, and the microplate and lyophilized standard additionally support up to 12 months of storage at −20°C.
