About the Target Protein

OSTF1 (Osteoclast-Stimulating Factor 1) is a cytoplasmic adaptor protein involved in osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption pathways. Circulating OSTF1 concentrations are investigated in studies of postmenopausal osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Paget's disease, and metabolic bone disorders.

The plate uses a human-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity reported for rodent OSTF1 homologs, supporting quantitative measurement in human clinical and translational research samples.

Storage and Handling
