Human Osteonectin (ON) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring human osteonectin (ON), the matricellular glycoprotein also known as SPARC (Secreted Protein Acidic and Rich in Cysteine). Osteonectin is a calcium- and collagen-binding protein of approximately 32 kDa expressed in bone, platelets, and remodeling tissues, where it modulates cell-matrix interactions during wound repair, angiogenesis, and skeletal mineralization.

Supplied as a complete ELISA reagent set intended for in vitro research use only, the kit supports studies in connective tissue biology, oncology (where SPARC expression correlates with melanoma and glioma invasion), and fibrotic disease research. Investigators studying bone metabolism, tumor microenvironment signaling, or extracellular matrix remodeling use ON quantification to link expression levels with disease progression or treatment response.

The assay uses an absorbance-based readout on a standard microplate. Reagents are provided in individual vials sufficient for the stated number of assays; refrigerate between uses and protect from light to preserve conjugate activity.
