Human Osteoactivin PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0956)

Osteoactivin, also known as GPNMB (glycoprotein NMB), is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by osteoblasts, dendritic cells, and certain tumor cell populations. This research-use immunoassay from Assay Genie is configured to quantify human osteoactivin in cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum samples.

The kit is supplied in a 96-assay strip plate format with the reagents required to run the assay and generate a standard curve. Plates are processed using standard microplate incubation and wash steps, with absorbance read on a conventional plate reader; no proprietary instrumentation is required.

Typical research applications include studies of bone formation and osteoblast differentiation, investigation of GPNMB expression in melanoma and other tumor models, and profiling of osteoactivin levels across cell culture and biofluid samples.
