Description

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Oncostatin M Receptor (OSMR) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

OSMR is a key receptor in the signalling pathways of Oncostatin M, a cytokine involved in inflammation, immune response, and cell differentiation. Dysregulation of OSMR signalling has been associated with cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions, making it a relevant target for disease research. Validated performance for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples shows recovery averages of 96% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma), and 91% (heparin plasma), with linearity maintained across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions. The procedure follows a standard sandwich workflow: equilibrate reagents and the pre-coated plate, incubate standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes, incubate with HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate for 10–20 minutes in the dark, then stop and read absorbance at 450 nm.
