Human ORP150/HSP12A ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of ORP150 (also known as HSP12A) in human samples. The kit is intended for research applications investigating disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.

ORP150 is a chaperone protein that plays a crucial role in cellular protection against stress and injury. It is involved in regulating protein folding and stability, and has been implicated in diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. Measuring ORP150 levels can support research into disease pathogenesis and the development of novel treatments that target this protein.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Spike-and-recovery testing yields averages of 93% for serum, 99% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma, with linearity between 82% and 105% across the same matrices.
