Human Ornithine Decarboxylase Antizyme 1 (OAZ1) ELISA Kit

Ornithine Decarboxylase Antizyme 1 (OAZ1) is a key negative regulator of polyamine biosynthesis, binding ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) and routing it to the 26S proteasome for ubiquitin-independent degradation. Because polyamine pools drive DNA synthesis, translation, and cell-cycle progression, OAZ1 levels are frequently interrogated in tumor biology, proliferation assays, and signal-transduction studies. This Assay Genie quantitative ELISA enables researchers to measure native OAZ1 protein in cleared tissue homogenates and cell lysate preparations, supporting work on feedback control of the polyamine pathway, frameshift-mediated regulation of antizyme expression, and disease models where altered ODC activity has been documented. The kit is supplied as a complete plate format with all reagents required for the standard curve and sample run, and components should be stored refrigerated at 4 degrees C prior to first use.
