Human OMD (Osteomodulin) ELISA Kit (HUFI04986)

Assay Genie's Human OMD (Osteomodulin) ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody assay intended for the quantitative measurement of osteomodulin in human biological samples. Osteomodulin is a key protein involved in bone formation and remodeling, and its dysregulation has been linked to bone disorders such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, making the kit a useful research tool for studying skeletal health and bone metabolism.

Detection is colorimetric, with a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity, expressed as percentage of expected concentration, has been reported for serum (86-105% at 1:2; 82-99% at 1:4; 80-92% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (85-103%; 84-97%; 83-98%) and heparin plasma (95-105%; 86-101%; 82-100%) at matching 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery ranges and averages are 91-101% (serum, 95%), 85-96% (EDTA plasma, 92%) and 88-105% (heparin plasma, 96%).
