Human OGDH ELISA Kit

Designed for the accurate quantification of OGDH (Oxoglutarate Dehydrogenase) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with a colorimetric readout based on TMB substrate. OGDH is a key enzyme in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle involved in energy metabolism and cellular homeostasis, and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer, highlighting its relevance as a potential biomarker.

The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The workflow includes a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) interaction, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranged from 85-102% for serum, 82-97% for EDTA plasma, and 82-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery was 85-104% (average 96%) in serum, 89-101% (average 94%) in EDTA plasma, and 86-105% (average 98%) in heparin plasma.
