Quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie built around OBFC1, also called CST complex subunit STN1, the oligonucleotide/oligosaccharide-binding (OB) fold protein that partners with CTC1 and TEN1 to form the trimeric CST complex capping mammalian telomere ends and supporting lagging-strand DNA synthesis.

Alterations in STN1 expression are investigated in studies of telomere maintenance disorders, replication fork stability, genome integrity under replication stress, Coats plus syndrome, dyskeratosis congenita, and multiple cancer phenotypes, making the kit relevant for academic and translational laboratories probing age-related replicative senescence and shelterin-independent telomere protection.

The kit is supplied as a complete reagent set including coated microplate wells, capture and detection antibodies, protein standards, and buffers for in vitro research use only.
