Human OAS3/2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthase 3 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the accurate quantitative detection of human OAS3 (2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthase 3). The assay uses a double-antibody configuration with colorimetric readout, offering a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, making it suitable for immunology and antiviral research.

OAS3 is an interferon-induced, dsRNA-activated antiviral enzyme that contributes to innate immune defence through the RNase L pathway. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, and the buffers needed to perform the assay. Following sample addition and primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, the protocol proceeds through detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Typical recovery values reported are 85–96% for serum, 87–104% for EDTA plasma, and 89–101% for heparin plasma, supporting reliable quantification across common human sample matrices.
