Human NY-ESO-1 (Cancer/testis antigen 1) ELISA Kit (HUFI03454)

The NY-ESO-1 antigen, also designated Cancer/Testis Antigen 1 (CTAG1A/CTAG1B), is an approximately 18 kDa protein belonging to the cancer-testis antigen family. In normal physiology, expression is tightly confined to testicular germ cells and placental trophoblast, while aberrant re-expression has been documented in melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian carcinoma, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, synovial sarcoma, and a range of other malignancies. This tumor-restricted pattern has made NY-ESO-1 a focus of cancer biomarker research, recombinant cancer vaccine design, and TCR-engineered adoptive cell therapy programs.
