NUMB is a membrane-associated endocytic adaptor protein that regulates Notch signaling, ubiquitin-dependent protein turnover, and asymmetric cell division. Altered NUMB expression has been documented in studies of neural development, breast carcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer, making it a target of interest for cell-fate and oncology research. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is supplied as a microplate kit containing a precoated plate, detection antibody, calibrator standards, wash and substrate buffers, and stop reagent configured for the stated number of determinations. The kit is intended for research use only and supports measurement of endogenous NUMB in prepared human biospecimens.
