This Assay Genie immunoassay supports quantitative research on Nucleosome Assembly Protein 1-Like 1 (NAP1L1), a ~45 kDa histone chaperone implicated in nucleosome assembly, histone H2A-H2B trafficking, and chromatin remodeling during S-phase progression. The protein shuttles dynamically between the nucleus and cytoplasm and contributes to cell cycle regulation, neuronal progenitor expansion, and transcriptional activation of E2F1-driven genes.

Altered NAP1L1 expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and several leukemia cell models, where it is being investigated for its role in sustaining proliferation and its potential as a prognostic marker. The kit is configured for human samples and detects endogenous NAP1L1 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates, providing a quantitative protein-level readout that complements transcriptomic and proteomic studies.

Each kit contains reagents for 96 assays, supporting medium-throughput workflows such as knockdown validation, dose-response screening, or comparative profiling across cell lines. Common uses include tracking NAP1L1 changes after siRNA, CRISPR, or pharmacological perturbation; monitoring expression across differentiation protocols; and confirming findings from chromatin immunoprecipitation or histone chaperone interaction studies. The microplate-based protocol runs on standard laboratory equipment, and the reagent format is intended for research use only in cell biology, epigenetics, and oncology laboratories.
