Human Nucleolar and spindle-associated protein 1 (NUSAP1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colourimetric sandwich ELISA intended for the quantitative measurement of human Nucleolar and spindle-associated protein 1 (NUSAP1) in research applications. The assay is configured for human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human NUSAP1 (UniProt Q9BXS6). Synonyms recognised by the antibody pair include BM-037, PRO0310, NuSAP and ANKT.

The kit reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.079 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Manufacturer linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, and average recovery is reported as 100% for serum (range 94–106%) and 102% for plasma (range 96–108%).

NUSAP1 is a microtubule-associated protein that bundles and stabilises microtubules and contributes to the organisation of mitotic spindle microtubules. Its dysregulation has been linked to cancer development, making it a useful biomarker for studies of tumour biology and potential therapeutic targets. The assay is for research use only.
