Human Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group I member 3 (NR1I3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group I member 3 (NR1I3), also referred to as the constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) and constitutive activator of retinoid response. The assay is specific for both natural and recombinant human NR1I3 (UniProt: Q14994) and is intended for research use only.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the kit reports a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Precision is reported at an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Spike-and-recovery testing shows an average recovery of 98% (range 92–104%) in serum and 100% (range 94–106%) in plasma.

NR1I3 is a nuclear receptor and a key regulator of drug metabolism and the body's response to xenobiotic substances, with dysregulation linked to liver disorders and cancer. The protein transactivates retinoic acid response elements controlling the retinoic acid receptor beta 2 and alcohol dehydrogenase 3 genes, and also transactivates the phenobarbital responsive element of the CYP2B6 gene and the CYP3A4 xenobiotic response element.
