NFE2L1 is a CNC-type bZIP family transcription factor that translocates to the nucleus in response to various stresses. It heterodimerizes with small-Maf proteins (MAFF, MAFG or MAFK) and binds antioxidant response elements (AREs), regulating genes involved in the oxidative stress response. Dysregulation of NFE2L1 has been implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions.

The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Endoplasmic reticulum membrane sensor NFE2L1, with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 35pg/ml.
