Human Nuclear apoptosis-inducing factor 1/NAIF1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Nuclear Apoptosis-Inducing Factor 1 (NAIF1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a double-antibody sandwich format and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across serum (86–101%, 84–100%, 80–97%), EDTA plasma (89–100%, 87–101%, 81–99%) and heparin plasma (86–102%, 89–98%, 81–96%). Spike-and-recovery was reported in serum (93–102% range, 99% average), EDTA plasma (85–105% range, 95% average) and heparin plasma (93–105% range, 99% average). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

NAIF1 is described as a protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis and programmed cell death, with research relevance to conditions involving abnormal cell death such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and immune-related diseases.
