Human NTN4/Netrin-4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Netrin-4 (NTN4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The target is also known as Beta-Netrin and hepar-derived netrin-like protein.

Netrin-4 participates in cell migration and adhesion, and contributes to neural development and axon guidance. Altered expression of the protein has been associated with cancer, neurological disorders and cardiovascular diseases, supporting its value as a research biomarker.

The assay has a sensitivity of 32pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5,000pg/mL. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 94% in serum (range 88–101%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 91–103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 92–98%). Linearity was confirmed across serial dilutions in the same three matrices. Intra-assay precision is CV <10% and inter-assay precision is CV <12%. Loss of activity is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage, and the kit has a 12-month shelf life. Plates are read at 450nm. For research use only.
