Human NTF4/Neurotrophin 4 ELISA Kit

A colourimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human NTF4 (Neurotrophin 4). The double-antibody sandwich format detects the target across a working range of 93.75–6000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 56.25 pg/mL, and uses a TMB substrate read at 450 nm.

Reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and cell or tissue lysate, as well as other liquid sample types. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C. A typical workflow includes equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, and 10–20 minutes of colour development in the dark, before stopping the reaction and reading absorbance. Sample preparation guidance covers serum (clotting followed by centrifugation at 1000 × g for 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tubes, centrifugation at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8 °C), tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants (centrifugation at 2500 rpm for 5 minutes), and cell lysates.

NTF4 is a neurotrophic factor that promotes the growth and survival of neurons in the nervous system, and its dysregulation has been implicated in Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and depression, making the kit relevant to research into neurotrophin biology and neurodegenerative conditions.
