The NT5C gene encodes cytosolic 5'-nucleotidase IA (NT5C1A), a magnesium-dependent enzyme that hydrolyzes nucleoside 5'-monophosphates to nucleosides and inorganic phosphate. This Assay Genie kit is configured in a sandwich immunoassay format for the quantitative measurement of NT5C in human serum and plasma samples, with no significant cross-reactivity with related 5'-nucleotidase isoforms.
