Human NRTN/Neurturin ELISA Kit

Built around the GDNF-family neurotrophic factor neurturin, the Assay Genie Human NRTN/Neurturin ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of this ligand in human specimens. Neurturin signals through the RET tyrosine kinase in complex with the GFRα2 co-receptor and supports dopaminergic neurons of the substantia nigra as well as spinal motor neurons, giving the kit direct relevance for Parkinson's disease research, motor neuron biology studies, and investigations into neurotrophic factor signaling pathways.

Supplied in a 96 Assays configuration for in vitro research use only, the assay uses a microplate-based workflow that yields absorbance values proportional to neurturin concentration. Standard curves generated from the included calibrators allow laboratories to determine endogenous or recombinant human NRTN levels across experimental sample sets. Reagents should be kept refrigerated to preserve antibody binding activity through the full shelf life of the kit components.
