Quantitative measurement of human Neuregulin-1 beta 1 (NRG1-β1) in cell culture supernatant using a two-antibody immunoassay format from Assay Genie. NRG1-β1 belongs to the neuregulin family of EGF-like signaling ligands that bind ErbB3 and ErbB4 receptor tyrosine kinases, activating PI3K/AKT and MAPK cascades involved in neuronal development, Schwann cell differentiation, and cardiac morphogenesis. Dysregulated NRG1 signaling is implicated in cancer biology research (notably breast carcinoma), cardiovascular studies, and neuroscience applications.

This 96-assay ELISA kit is intended for research use only and is validated for cell culture supernatant and for the quantification of human NRG1-β1 in plasma/serum specimens.
