NrCAM (Neuronal Cell Adhesion Molecule) is a transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily and the L1CAM family, with documented roles in axon guidance, neuronal migration, and synapse formation during nervous system development. Quantifying soluble NrCAM supports research in neurodevelopmental biology, neural circuit assembly, and oncology, where NrCAM has been examined in glioma and other tumors.
