Human NR1H4/FXR ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of NR1H4 (also known as FXR) in human biological samples, this assay is supplied by Assay Genie as a sandwich ELISA built on a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. Reactivity is human, and the kit has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5), EDTA plasma (n=5) and heparin plasma (n=5), with average recoveries of 97%, 91% and 98% respectively. Linearity has also been examined at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions across the same three sample matrices. The protocol follows a sandwich ELISA workflow: plate and reagent equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37 °C, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37 °C, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction followed by absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Unopened kits are intended to be stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months.
