Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Human NPY1R/Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format, double-antibody enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y1. It is intended for research use only and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection uses a biotinylated antibody followed by HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm; a validated Bradford Reagent is included for total protein normalisation.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, assay sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL and the working range is 0.313–20 ng/mL. Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was 87–99%, 83–100% and 83–95% for serum (n=5), 85–99%, 80–98% and 81–99% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 91–104%, 87–103% and 87–104% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery ranged 95–104% (average 98%) for serum, 89–100% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 87–103% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. Components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
