Built around a pre-coated strip microplate, this immunoassay delivers quantitative measurement of NOXA2, also known as p67phox or NCF2, the cytosolic regulatory subunit of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase complex. NOXA2 partners with the p47phox subunit during oxidase assembly on phagosomal and plasma membranes, a step essential for superoxide generation and the respiratory burst that neutrophils use to kill ingested microbes. The kit supports 96 individual determinations, with all assay buffers, standards, and detection antibody supplied for absorbance-based readout on a standard plate reader. Assay Genie configured the workflow around the approximately 59 kDa target protein, and reagents should be kept refrigerated on arrival to preserve antibody binding activity.
