Human NOX1/NADPH oxidase 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the sensitive and accurate measurement of NADPH oxidase 1 (NOX1) in human samples, supporting research into oxidative stress and inflammation. NOX1 is a key enzyme in reactive oxygen species production, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cardiovascular disorders, inflammatory conditions, and cancer, making the kit a useful tool for studying disease progression and identifying potential therapeutic targets.

Run as a double-antibody sandwich ELISA with colorimetric detection, the assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. It delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a measurable range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, and unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, yielding 90–97%, 84–100%, and 81–99% in serum; 85–100%, 82–94%, and 80–86% in EDTA plasma; and 85–101%, 82–99%, and 84–99% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing returned average recoveries of 97% in serum (range 92–104%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 88–104%), and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89–105%).
