Human Non-histone chromosomal protein HMG-17 (HMGN2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human non-histone chromosomal protein HMG-17 (HMGN2), also referred to as high mobility group nucleosome-binding domain-containing protein 2 or HMG17. The kit is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant human HMGN2.

Performance characteristics listed in the product datasheet include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.182 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity, and recovery values provided with the kit. HMGN2 is a nuclear DNA-binding protein (UniProt P05204, gene HMGN2, chromosomal location 1p36.1) that binds the inner side of nucleosomal DNA and may help maintain transcribable genes in a unique chromatin conformation, with cytoplasmic enrichment reported upon phosphorylation.
