Quantitative measurement of human Nogo-A (Reticulon 4A / RTN4A) in cell culture supernatant samples is supported by this immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. Nogo-A is a transmembrane protein of the reticulon family, best characterized as a myelin-associated inhibitor of neurite outgrowth and axonal regeneration that has been implicated in spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, ischemic stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and other central nervous system disorders. Researchers investigating neuroregeneration, glial biology, and CNS injury pathways commonly rely on this reagent when profiling RTN4 expression in cultured neurons, glial cells, or relevant neuronal and glial cell lines.
