Human Noggin (NOG) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich-format immunoassay is designed for the quantitative detection of human Noggin (NOG), a secreted inhibitor of bone morphogenetic proteins (BMP) signalling that is required for growth and patterning of the neural tube and somite, and is essential for cartilage morphogenesis and joint formation through interaction with GDF5 and, probably, GDF6.

The kit detects natural and recombinant human Noggin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids using a colorimetric readout, with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision is 10.2% CV. Recovery is 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma.
