Human NOG (Noggin) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantitative detection of human noggin, this sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie employs a double-antibody format and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Because noggin is a key regulator of bone morphogenetic proteins involved in embryonic development and tissue regeneration, the kit is suited to research into BMP signalling, with dysregulation of noggin linked to cancer, osteoporosis, and neural tube defects.

Kit components include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100×), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100×), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer (25×), stop solution, plate sealers, and a technical manual. Components are stored at 2–8°C, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard also suitable for 12 months at –20°C.

Validation data report strong linearity in serum (88–100% at 1:2; 92–105% at 1:4; 95–105% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (86–100%; 83–95%; 82–100%) and heparin plasma (87–96%; 85–92%; 84–96%). Spike-and-recovery averages were 92% for serum (range 88–96%), 98% for EDTA plasma (range 88–103%), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 88–100%). The kit is intended for research use in cell biology and molecular research applications.
