Human Nodal homolog (NODAL) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Nodal homolog (NODAL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric and the assay is reactive with human samples.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, sensitivity of 39pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (93-105%, 95-104%, 107-116%, 110-120%), EDTA plasma (92-103%, 95-107%, 104-114%, 97-107%) and heparin plasma (95-105%, 98-108%, 109-120%, 102-111%). Recovery averages 110% (range 104-116%) in serum and 112% (range 106-118%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Nodal homolog.

Nodal homolog is a secreted, disulfide-linked homodimer belonging to the TGF-beta family (UniProt Q96S42) that is essential for mesoderm formation and axial patterning during embryonic development. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to development biology studies.
